Feel the Music

Feel the music round hour of paling sunset
can you hear buoyant chirping of bluebirds
I balance delight as song engaged my mind
as blues carried along wings of velvet wind.
Feel the music round hour of perpetual rain
can you hear its pitter patter on joisted roof
I close my eyes and let my heartbeat thrum,
while spirit breathes in contemplation calm.
Without music our life is but a treasure lost.
