Let the rain pour down;
Awaken memoirs of the past.
The grass with its green;
Give life to hope at last.
The cold summer rain;
Has drenched our soul.
Running wild and free;
Having lost control.
So until the last drop;
Till the rain has stopped.
Skip dance and hop;
Till either one has dropped.

“Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby.” –Β Langston Hughes
I adore the quote. Those of us who live in drought-stricken regions of the world will always appreciate the sweet fall of rain. Thanks, Sanaa.

A rain poem— read on a day when it’s raining where I am. And we can use the rain since the sheep pasture is getting a little sparse, leading to sheep escapes.
I liked your use of rhyme in the poem, it added a lot to the beauty of the finished product.

Into every life rain will fall, you might as well make th most of it. What we do with it, is our choice.
