Love Song

Love, time, space, continuum
somehow add up to mean the same,
they’re words that ring inside my heart.
Paint not desire upon these lips,
You’re breath o’ soul, empyrean art.
Like poesy that trickles out mouth of odist,
come adorn o’ sizzle preserved opuscule.
I relish not lily nor savor I rose,
find light most winning of deep-set eyes.
Paint not affection upon these lips,
You’re fire o’ ice, unfeigned harp.
Like paean that soothes wavering throb,
come enlighten o’ apprise tentative step.
Love, time, space, continuum
somehow add up to mean the same,
they’re words that ring inside my heart.
