In Your Eyes

A look of ardor in your eyes;
One that took me by surprise.
And peace which lulls the breath of sighs;
Such earnest thoughts within me rise.

Lo! Far beneath the glistening skies
His candor soon I learned to prize.
A look of ardor in your eyes;
One that took me by surprise.

Drank deeply from his words so wise;
Just love the way you mesmerize.
Know blissful dreams may soon arise;
When part of you comes out alive.
A look of ardor in your eyes.
