Get up and Dance

tumblr_mbglxrYpV01rgftmho1_500

The lights are out;
Loud music playing.
To the rhythm of the beat;
The body thus swaying.

Caught in a,
Trance.
Get up and,
Dance.

Listen up close;
Melodious note.
Spirit so high;
Feeling afloat.

Caught in a,
Trance.
Get up and,
Dance.

The night is young;
Wild heart pounding.
Engrossed in music;
Forgotten all surrounding.

Caught in a,
Trance.
Get up and,
Dance.

The perfect fit;
Moving as one.
Flaming romance;
Had soon begun.

Caught in a,
Trance.
Get up and,
Dance.

    I love that your wording here still carries a pulsing rhythm in the short lines conveys a bass line in the repetition of the caught in a trance stanza! Thanks for sharing this! I’m glad my prompt brought some magic to the page!!!! Viva la
