Crabapple Tree

Landing on both feet
is
nothing
short of art, I realize as she
jumps
gracefully from
top of the crabapple tree,
I’d always hit a branch
or get caught
in deep darkness red,
tell me,
what would you dust off and
say to me?

  1. This is a delightful crab apple quadrille, Sanaa! I remember being that child who would jump out of a tree.

Very nicely done! Hope you don’t break a leg jumping from the tree!

  3. Lovely, Sanaa. You have me wondering who “she” is. I imagined a cat. But if I was graceful enough, I’d definitely say hi. 😊

Our crab apple wasn’t big enough to climb, but I’ve climbed many other apple trees. Thanks for the memories xx
