Clouds in the water

Gasping asphodels raise themselves
in towers of green then pause—
they observe the clouds
full of sorrow
and choose to bring something soft.
I follow suit and write odes,
my bare skin humbled at the honesty
of the wind;
death is but a dream.

    Yea for Sanaa!! It is hard to write an Ode that says bad things
    about the subject. Maybe you know, it won’t be an ode then?
    This is very nice, I was not familiar with the asphodels, I may
    seen some at Dubia, Aba Dhabi, or Katar but didn’t know what
    they were. Not exactly similar to our lilies.
