The Philosophy of Falling Petals

Petals loosen from the stem,
as though
a gentle surrender
to time
and its breath.
Each fall
is a question asked
without words—

where does beauty go
when it leaves the branch?
Perhaps, it teaches us
that endings
are merely another way of becoming.
