We hare off between the trees; unwilling
to blend in
with wildflowers in the fields and forests,
versatile blooms, blue
red and yellow,
one can easily be swept away into thoughts,
in tearful acceptance of what is
and what isn’t–
but let us not think about that for a while,
for now we run,
converse with the talkative wild wind,
hold hands and promise
never to fit into any constellation,
there is so much else to explore,
why waste time ferreting out facts
when we can simply manifest whatever
we want in life— but oh,
if only the heart can forgive its failures.
Something to think about.
