Lo! to have gained happiness;
Seems like the ultimate dream.
Happiness lies in little things;
Tis mostly how it often seems.
Behold! to relish in the joy of others;
Beaming smiles upon their face.
Alas! the path of give and take;
So often ends up, to be the case.
So spread some joy;
These precious moments in life.
Come lie under the sun and bask;
Tis really isn’t so much to ask.
Cause happiness means to live in present;
The only chance to rise or descent.

I completely agree that happiness is in the little things… and the big things, and the in-between. It is always there, accessible. We are responsible for recognizing it, seeing it, embracing and being it.

Happiness most certainly is best when shared. There is so much sadness in the world how much better it would be if just one small act of ours made someone else’s life happier.
