Like snow that melts upon touch,
Oh! soft as scent of damask rose.
So often a heart harbors dreams,
as though mere whisper unheard.
You are desire, sweet, pulsating;
a melody that bewitches my mind
body and soul ―

I gasp as he paints his thoughts on
clouds of fire, spruce and mauve ―
Shivers ebb as waves on virgin skin,
as I sought to perceive love through
the eyes of my friend.

    Your are the mistress of romance, Sanaa! Wonderful lines:
    ‘You are desire, sweet, pulsating;

    and I enjoyed the colours in that final stanza.
