Poem inspired by the poetic masterpiece by E.E.Cummings “Love is thicker than forget.”
And I am deliberately yours;
in breath of eventide, rich dark skies
until every sigh,
every waking moment bears taste of
your nameβromance blooms,
urging us descend into shivers unknown;
Iβm breathless, fragrance
reverberating
in corners
of
my heart,
my heart, my heart.

Okay, you KNOW when you begin with E.E. Cummings you’ve already got my heart. Yep. And then this gorgeousness:
“rich dark skies
until every sigh,”
And that repeating heart(beat) at the end. So good.
Thanks for pointing out that the repetition at the end is like a heartbeat. I didn’t catch that, but now I realize it’s amazing! π
