Made of vanilla, sugar and flour.
Dipped in sesame seed oil;
Delivered within the hour.

Nice, with a bit of foreboding behind the sugar. Just as it should be with those fortunes.
As an aside, I have never seen chocolate-dipped fortune cookies! EEK I might need to do something about that!

Sanaa, what a lovely thought. Why don’t restaurants serve fortune cookies like the ones pictured, dipped in chocolate? That is a brilliant touch to an already fun dessert… Great use of rhyme here, particularly on “message” and “presage.” Very clever, and the meaning of the poem is clear and fun. Amy
