Facing us is inequality

A slip of the pen
deliberate,
and the next thing you know there’s a visible rise
in Fahrenheit;
they despise us for our tongue,
gold illustrated rage that alludes inequality
unabashedβ€”
and now the moon roseate observes my intentions;
there is no turning back.

    So much to ponder in these tumultuous times, a slip of the pen or in some case the tongue can lead to disastrous consequences… a strong poem Sanaa.

    Yes, Sanaa, inequality trussed unto us unashamedly for all to see. A healthy person could die within 8 minutes in police custody!

    The Moon roseate. – so powerful. The draw of the blood moon and the sense of apocalypse and things coming off the rails, insinuated and veiled. A touch of Bradbury here? Love this. Terrifying and true
