Collection of thoughts

colorful-cool-girl-sad-thinking-Favim.com-133009

Life is made of several moments;
Echo: Omens
Of choices and paths which we have chosen.
Echo: Zen

Though life at times does not seem fair;
Echo: Air
Leave the shade to step into the glare.
Echo: Lair

A laugh does chime in a sea of sadness;
Echo: Nest
Tugs at the heart like a piece of magnet.
Echo: Net

Thoughts stride into the mind and heart;
Echo: Art
Is love in actual – unification of parts.
Echo: Parts

The question remains to lead or follow;
Echo: Low
Truth is sometimes hard to swallow.
Echo: Allow

We live our life like there’s no tomorrow;
Echo: Morrow
Refuse to wander in the fields of sorrow.
Echo: Sorrow

    Sanaa, what an excellent message in your Echo Verse! Though life does not sometimes seem fair, it really is good not to wander in the fields of sorrow too long. Really, I am impressed with your well-chosen echoes!

    You are a master of the form, Sanaa. My favorite stanzas are the opening and closing ones. Life is indeed a series of choices and paths and it is great to be aware that we often have alternatives.

    So many favourite lines there for me…

    A laugh does chime in a sea of sadness;
    Echo: Nest

    and then

    Truth is sometimes hard to swallow.
    Echo: Allow

    A wonderfully crafted poem…

    This is a difficult form, but you’ve done a nice job with it! Better if it is read aloud by two voices I think….
