Acceptance

self-acceptance

Acceptance is what we crave;
Echo: Rave
Often it comes at final stage.
Echo: Age

Acceptance is harder than you think;
Echo: Ink
Loyalties change before the eye can blink.
Echo: Link

Shattered hopes can make us grieve;
Echo: Eve
These thoughts refuse to take their leave.
Echo: Leave

We struggle to get a grip and stand;
Echo: And
Acceptance is letting go of sand.
Echo: Sand

Often the world can be so cruel;
Echo: Rule
Acceptance is learning to keep your cool.
Echo: Cool

For acceptance is hardly a flawless face;
Echo: Ace
Time shall offer us strength and grace.
Echo: Race

    So very true it is seldom flawless and often a last resort when we feel we have no other option than to accept it. What a cool structure. I read the second line like a call and response truly echoing the extra word which is a really cool effect. May have to steal that idea. Haha
