No Sound, Only Being

In quiet lies the soul’s refrain,
beyond the noise, beyond the name.
The self dissolves and edges blur,
what is, what was, begins to stir.
No voice, no truth, yet all feels near—
we seek to gradually unlearn fear.
Is anyone ever truly silent?

Oh, I believe that in silence we always hear ourselves the more… never really quiet actually

  2. I love that thought, ‘in quiet lies the soul’s refrain’. I don’t think anyone is ever truly silent. I love a bit of peace and quiet.

The theory that our identity is a compilation of the stories we tell ourselves, makes me wonder if we ever have true quiet, listening also always to our thoughts, so perhaps truly do the edges of the self blur as you beautifully frame it in these rich couplets.
    Thanks for this
