Let’s step up to the challenge.
Using the power of speech, we condemn sinful acts;
The power of persuasion shall not be exploited.
It belonged to men of substance.
Values embedded in pages of history.
Setting for us a fine example.
And carried throughout the years intact.
Let us kneel and pray for light of guidance;
Raise our voice and break the silence.
Prestige is the shadow of wealth and power;
Power causing men to trifle with the truth.
Let us hold on to reins of reason;
Remain rooted to the realm of virtue.
For youth today lacks wisdom;
Let us help them shed ignorance.
The rays of sun emitting knowledge.
Life is sown with prickly thorns;
Decide on which path to choose.
With a world to win and nothing to lose.
Let’s not forget the power of love;
Which keeps us moving forward.
The more peaceful the atmosphere;
The greater chances of success.
For love makes the world go round.
A man’s value lies in the power of logic.
His personality has the power to seek;
To sail and conquer the seven seas.
The power to express through mere emotion;
Time shall deepen a man’s devotion.
The noblest of power is that of pen;
A pen is mightier than the sword.
We use the power of decision;
To make a life altering change.
Let’s not forget the voice of our heart.
Dreams are but mere illustrations;
Woven with the stars at night.
The angels speak while we’re asleep.
Bidding us to woes forget;
Dispel our hearts from all regret.

I do like the Glosa form. I believe the first 4 lines in the first 10-line stanza to be the “text” upon which the rest of your poem comments. I was surprised that you started with:
“It belonged to men of substance.
Values embedded in pages of history.” Until I realized that you added to its idea of power and made it much more complex and rich than anything already embedded in those pages. I love how you add prayer, reason, love and peaceful means to power. Reading past the male pronoun, I hear your voice as strong and powerful.

What a great summary of powers this is. Love is the one that for me overrides all. The power of the pen is fine but how often it is used to no good with propaganda and untruths. Then of course is the power of faith and trust which can work miracles.

I like the way you presented various forms and sources of power. the use of common phrases and putting your stamp or twist is really effective.
