A Pocketful of Hunger

I ache for you; like fire beneath skin,
your name
a pulse beating against my ribs.
Keep me in your pocket,
close enough to feel me burn.
I crave your breath,
your nearness,
your gravityβ€” until every nerve
remembers the shape of wanting you.
