Undoubtedly, You

This morning I awoke longing to touch you.
Your winsome smile beguiles, writes stories
that keep me up at night.

I want to gaze at you under the autumn red
moon, sing odes to doleful lips.
I’m certain I’ve adored you since beginning
of time.

Come slowly as dawn’s promise of warmth
though there be a thousand reasons not to,
as oasis rising from a sandy wasteland, you

just you, it’s you, yes you, undoubtedly you.

That would be beautiful to hear Sanaa. Sometimes the words can be unspoken but instead seen by the look in their eyes or the attention paid or things that they do for you or even their fleeting touch unnoticed by others. What a delightful poem of love you have written.

Gorgeous, Sanaa! Like the wedding in that video. I love the photo of the hydrangeas, too. Just beautiful.

I’m sorry to be so late in reading this, gosh I’ve lost my bearings completely this April. And today we have a couple of inches of fresh slushy snow and it is pouring down rain on top of it! Confusing.
