You know how there’s that
one song that gets stuck in
your head no matter where
you go and what you do, it
refuses to let go oh follows
on road that lies ahead.
The heart though stubborn
sometimes coincides with
the head, lets out feelings,
all of world’s truths unsaid.
The falling snow, the morn-
ing schedule are little but
disruptions that usher me
through.
No matter what hour and
time of day, you are deep
within like the song in my
head.

That song in the head can get pretty annoying when you forget a line or two!!!
Definitely 🙂 thanks for stopping by, Rajani ❤️
An original metaphor and a wistful poem, Sanaa. I think we’ve all had that one song in our heads and hearts.
Thank you so much, Kim 😀 so glad you liked it ❤️
Love the metaphor… I have had many such ‘songs’ in my head. Happy April and good luck if you go for 30 in 30.

Oh I really loved how you connected this at the end…..yes a deep love is like that song stuck in our heads, although mine plays many tunes for the many moods of love.
Thank you so much, Donna 😀 so glad you enjoyed it ❤️
Some songs harmonize with our own music so well, but we have to watch for those songs that drown out our own songs.
Definitely 🙂 thanks for stopping by, Rommy ❤️
Lovely poem. The last stanza really speaks to me.
Thank you so much, Toni 😀 so glad you liked it ❤️
Ah, a song in the head for love.
❤️❤️❤️
An “Ear Worm?” The song, “My little run-away” is sort of that way for me. Literally for songs, but I can’t think of a person I always have in my mind, not even Mrs. Jim. I think your poet is a lucky person if the one remembered is worthy.
..
Thank you so much, Jim 😀 so good to see you ❤️
This comparison works beautifully. I know intimately the effect.
❤️❤️❤️
I have people in my head, that no matter how long it has been, remind me of certain songs. And when they come to mind, the song will accompany the memory of that individual. I so agree with what you have said here. Thank you,
Elizabeth
Thank you so much, Elizabeth 🙂 so good to see you ❤️
Yes the heart is stubborn creature isn’t it ? Often sapping our strength and resolve but hopefully saving us from trouble too.
Definitely 🙂 thanks for stopping by, Robin ❤️
