I gather my words from the depths
of heart, allowing emotion to cross
its boundaries.

like scent of roses
oh as burning fire
like raging waves
like light of moon

I gather courage from unpetaled
crocus, allowing strength to seep
into my bones.

to bear pangs of love
and console and ease
to sail through storms
and adorn rays of sun

And when words

                           seem not enough

of love

let your heartbeat reach his ears
let your eyes reflect your desires
let your touch convey its warmth

of anger

let your silence reverberate calm
allow lips to control its language
and your eyes hold back its tears

of sorrow

grab some tissues for the eyeliner
let your woes drown in ice-cream
and remember not to dial your ex

‘A colorful remark

                         isn’t half bad either.’
