Roses beckon with their fragrance sweet,
address in tones both buoyant and naive.
I knew not what fascinated towards then,
I know not what fascinates towards today,
perhaps there is something present in air,
that allows me to dwell and find solace.

Roses beckon with their fragrance sweet,
observe as I sway with thunder and heat.
Though roses they come alongwith thorn,
I implore my heart to not retreat in doubt,
allow wisdom to seep into the raring soul,
to foresee things that are beyond control,

‘for what would the world be without a rose.’
