Under the harvest moon
when light shimmers upon a bank of flowers
he gazed upon with a smile
as sweet as warm wind in summer
Passion lends new zest to lone and blissful hours
The blooming red fields
night whispers until the early hours of morn
she smiled and pointed north
to a thousand glittering stars
‘like misty rain, coming softly, but flooding the river’
oh let such love be ours
