As time arrived for us to move forward;
The pleasant evening coming to a close.
The air laden with the scent of fresh apple rose;
Travelling across the blooming orchard.
Prefer to hold onto this hand;
Gazing deep into those eyes.
Knowing time so fast it flies;
Never knew it would be so grand.
Seeping through the closed eyelid;
Tears like drop of white pearls.
Staining the long velvet glove.
Bursting out the words she hid;
She whispered now into his ear.
As stars shine in the skies above.

I am happy at this story ending at a note of a beautiful beginning. Gosh I’m just a romantic at heart. It was quite interesting, the narration. You told the story, yet let us slip into the events, with you when you changed tenses.
