Each petal hugs the creamy white bud
as though endless acoustic in bruised sunsets,
he, my sentence, my ode and decadent Β sin,
observes them placed upon the nightstand.
As though endless acoustic in bruised sunsets,
bound by emotion raging soft in his hazel eyes,
our fingers entwine
He, my sentence, my ode and decadent sin
five shades lighter than carob,
falling with a little more love is the only therapy
Observes them placed upon the nightstand
and smiles, as we navigate through our lives
with a less than known map.

I looked at the prompt, told myself I didn’t have time to get involved in a new form, read your poem and thought, yes!
Love this. It is so like the painting. Creamy.

I love that LOVE is the only therapy and that journey is from a not so known map. Delicious refraining lines specially this:
he, my sentence, my ode and decadent sin,
Marvelous trimeric poem.

There is a genuine sweetness to this piece, no broken hearts or promises. It fits within a Trimeric like a perfectly fitted evening glove, all silk and sequins. Creamy, smooth, loving, yet still innocent and vulnerable.
Thank you so much, Glenn π so glad the poem resonated with you πβ€οΈ
Sanaa you composed a stellar poem using this form. So rich yet dainty at the same time.

The gift of flowers and the gift of love are mirror images.
A well-crafted ode to both!
