Close your eyes – what do you hear?
Murmurs melting upon this ear.
Is it music or is it math?
The scent of roses on garden path.
Words emptied on morning dew;
So far our troubles remain a few.

Much I reflect on good and true;
I begin again as if its new.
Conversations lack wisdom, thought
Conscious of doing what we ought.
I witness things that shouldn’t be;
Break these chains and set me free.

Close your eyes – how  do you feel?
Some things we just cannot conceal.
Song and silence of the heart;
Or tears which fall right from the start.
This life we live is complex for words;
But not one moment goes unheard.

Search your soul be wild and wise;
Discard all those who weave their lies.
Don’t breathe on world with fearful breath;
Do make preparations for glorious death.
The stars have aligned up in the skies;
Won’t you see?  Now open your eyes.
