Wedding Vows

Spread the love

mariage-01

I, must confess, that without, a doubt
Even after our share of ups and downs
Alone you shone like flame throughout
In ripest and sweet shadow of sounds.

Even after our share of ups and downs
Like rose our souls do breathe of love
In ripest and sweet shadow of sounds
Where words we speak are heard above.

Like roses our souls do breathe of love
We dream about distant wedding bells
Where words we speak are heard above
And once pronounced forever to dwell.

We dream about distant wedding bells
Alone you shone like flame throughout
And once pronounced forever to dwell
I, must confess, that without, a doubt.

I love this. This is when you know it’s really gonna last.

I do remember my own wedding days so long ago and how we both had no eyes for anyone else r for we were so engrossed but each other. Beautifully written Sanaa.

The pantoum acts as a wedding bell echo in this beautiful poem, Sanaa.
The sincere vows echo through a relationship (before and hopefully for a long time.)
Would make a pretty song for a wedding me thinks.

    Hugs to you Sunny one!
