Spread the love

Lo! The sight,
So utterly majestic!
A cascade of water,
Allegedly artistic!

Hear thy breath,
Whisper in the air.
Water gushing slowly,
Propelling thee to stare.

Alas! The water,
Shimmering coral blue.
Painting up thy cheeks,
A soft crimson hue.

Basking there despite,
The hour of twilight.
Its time to bid adieu.
Walk the woods through.

Lo! The sight,
So utterly majestic!
A cascade of water,
AllegedlyΒ artistic!

Hi Sanaa… Lovely mix of classical & modern language in your poem. I have looked further at your ‘Thys’ & ‘Thees’.. your ‘thys’ were rightly used, however, I prefer ‘thou’ over your ‘thees’ in this particular piece. But, the entire poem itself reads beautifully executed. Thanks for the poem!

You have captured well the majestic nature of the waterfall in all its glorious beauty. Absolutely lovely prose and photo/video to accompany it.
