Spread the love

I fear not scorching heat of sun,
it’s similar to passion in my blood.
Heart hums along with raging sea
as though longing to test credence,
Come tread on hazy swamps with me
feel hope emerge from chasm deep —
irk not your soul for what’s to come
cause future my darling’s not inked
in stone.

What great advice there is in this poem Sanaa especially in matters of the heart where boldness and resolve are so important…and tenderness helps as well!

  2. Sand says:

This is lovely, Sanaa. I especially like the last line — future’s not inked in stone. A beautiful way to look at the future.

  3. Chris Evans says:

This is beautiful! Love the image of heart as it “hums along with raging sea as though longing to test credence.”
