Upon arrival of the full sprouting grass moon

Spread the love

I must confess that spectral appearance
reddened by the gracious moon
draped
over the sky would never escape my memory,
this is something
that you can’t describe nor share the experience with anyone.
What binds us to life?
What conjures the milky stars?
What distinguishes us from other living creatures?
I would never figure out.

  1. What distinguishes us from other living creatures? A most apt question for this picture. The fact that we are human in itself distinguishes us – animals are real in their emotions and humans can be so very false.

  2. Your hare contemplates as we do the mysteries of life and what brings these thoughts to our minds more than a fell moon on a clear night. A lovely poem. 🙂
