I, have seen them, cherish beauty, it’s soft allure
Oh they wouldn’t love anything less than perfect.
But, consider a vase of carnations, blooming red,
care to ponder deeply at what you think it seems.
Over time, its brilliance, would scatter and waste
would you cherish as much as you think you did.

I, have seen them, cherish beauty, it’s odd appeal
I would prefer you handed me your hidden flaws.
I, would adore them, as the moon wears its scars;
seek to delve deep and reach out for your heart.

‘Cause true beauty comes from being ourselves.’
