I, made my way slowly, jogging down the beach
closing in, towards the waning amber-rose sun.
The sound, of crashing waves, calms my nerves
as I attempt to catch hold of my breath.

Though, bitter be the drops of gloom, I swallow,
I, sought to embrace, the fire, that burns within.
Doubt, drives an arrow, into depths of my heart.
But then, life is never easy for those who dream.

I love the grain of sand slipping inside my shoes
the way, its warmth, tickles the soles, of my feet.
I listen to the wanton singing of the birds flying,
feeling closer to nature than ever before.

‘It’s going to be clear skies from now on.’
