The woods we walk through are a blooming riot,
Yet part of the world that resides here’s quieted.
I gaze as white blossoms descend unto the lake,
listening to rise and fall of opinions in my chest.
Oh! skies above are tinged with tangerine calm,
knowing we smile boldly unto grief and despair.

Come, extend your handΒ and feel drops of rain,
as soldiers we wipe away doubt as speck of dust.
I, gaze upon hustle and bustle that rims the city,
and knowing that I am far, almost dare to revel.
The woods we walk through are of shades serene,
We whisper of woes which otherwise are unseen.
