Earth

The Earth has music;
For those who listen.
High atop the trees;
The sunlight glistens.

Amongst His early signs;
The heaven and earth.
Long before humans;
Had even taken birth.

The surface of the Earth;
A shore of cosmic ocean.
Hence, living in a world;
Of perpetual motion.

Does wisdom perhaps;
Appear on earth as raven?
The closest we have;
To what we call haven.

Alas! Permit the Earth;
To beauty and joy!
Its nature perhaps;
A victim of decoy!

The Earth has music;
For those who listen.
High atop the trees;
The sunlight glistens.

Praise be to God

beautifull-field-girl-grass-hat-Favim.com-298878

Praise be to God;
Creator of heavens.
And all of this world;
Existing in present.

He painted the skies;
A glorious blue.
The morning grass;
Sparkled with dew.

He gave us blood;
The color of red.
Providing us all;
Milk and bread.

He created the trees;
Providing us shade.
Guiding us through;
Our travels and trade.

He colored the grass;
A bottled green.
A feeling of content;
Sliding in between.

Praise be to God;
Creator of heavens.
And all of this world;
Existing in present.

The Silver Lining

the_silver_lining_by_ducky108-d36pu7c

Might I crumble down and fall;
Steer me clear with your grace.
Bring down the granite  wall;
Encircle me with an embrace.

Because my life was not,
Spent in hiding.
You have become,
My silver lining.

Don’t leave me with my demon;
This emptiness surrounds me.
Shine your guidance upon me;
And let me soar towards  Eden.

Because my life was not,
Spent in hiding.
You have become,
My silver lining.

Upheaval from the old ruins;
Where love was torn apart.
Can’t decipher what I’m doing;
Follow the instinct of the heart.

Because my life was not,
Spent in hiding.
You have become,
My silver lining.

Tribute to Mae West whose life had a silver lining.

Dreams

1097315-bigthumbnail

Alas! When we follow our dreams;
People tend to snort tend to laugh.
Alas! When we follow our dreams;
People tend to crumple up in half.

Hush darling let them speak;
Our heart isn’t theirs to keep.
Wipe the tears on your cheek;
Strive towards the highest peak.

Alas! When we follow our dreams;
Learn to distinguish common allies.
Alas! When we follow our dreams;
Troubles in life help make us wise.

Hush darling let them speak;
Our heart isn’t theirs to keep.
Wipe the tears on your cheek;
Strive towards the highest peak

Alas! When we follow our dreams;
Prone to spite people bemoan.
Alas! When we follow our dreams.
The path to success weaves alone.

Hush darling let them speak;
Our heart isn’t theirs to keep.
Wipe the tears on your cheek;
Strive towards the highest peak.
