Hour Of Midnight

It was the time,
Around midnight.
Thy senses void;
Lacking insight.

In the darkness,
It slowly crept.
Slithering across;
Step by step.

Until at dawn,
To utter disbelief!
Corpses lying heaped!
Swiftly, horror seeped.

Before thee knew,
The world hath ceased!
Killings amid;
Thee horrid beasts!

A glimpse of the end,
Was all hath caught.
Women and children,
Fully distraught!

None of these things,
Felt righteous to thee.
The truth, alas!
It could not be!

What could be done?
Grievously thy thought!
Peace and sanctity,
Itching to be sought!

Waterfall

Lo! The sight,
So utterly majestic!
A cascade of water,
Allegedly artistic!

Hear thy breath,
Whisper in the air.
Water gushing slowly,
Propelling thee to stare.

Alas! The water,
Shimmering coral blue.
Painting up thy cheeks,
A soft crimson hue.

Basking there despite,
The hour of twilight.
Its time to bid adieu.
Walk the woods through.

Lo! The sight,
So utterly majestic!
A cascade of water,
Allegedly artistic!

To the Sun

flower-girl-smiling-sun-Favim.com-366658

The windows of thy soul,
Thrown wide open,
To the Sun.

Pray do not fancy,
This for a Pun!

The Sun hath rays,
Bright and warm,
Risen in the East,
Such is thy norm.

Flip thy hair,
Giveth a spun.
Smile while ye sparkle,
Bright in the Sun.

The windows of thy Soul,
Thrown wide open,
To the Sun.

Pray do not fancy,
This for a Pun!

Comrade

Girl-and-boy-friendship

In the midst of,
Surreal wilderness.
Thee shone as a light,
In pitch darkness.

It was the time of Spring,
A maiden which ye met,
Seemed as though,
From Beijing!

Like blooming roses,
Had our youth begun.
Lovelier more than,
The shining sun.

Soon thou hath
Become;
Closer, than thy
Own thumb.

This comradeship,
Oh so pure!
Like roaring waves,
Upon a shore.

So cherish thy bond,
Whilst ye share.
Like wintry leaves,
Tis so rare.
