Maybe just maybe after a few years it will all make sense and I will have gained answers to every βwhat the fuckβ raging in my mind; hellebores glistening as a backdrop, do you ever think about the world, and everyoneβs role in it the same way as I do?
I donβt fear the abyss, for being an abyss myself that helps transmute darkness to light itself; negativity that continues to plague others, the blue-grey September sky smiling down, side by side as we meander along grassy paths. As far as I can remember, I have always deemed people and their worries more significant than my own.
I am a light worker; a whisper of hope amid the chaos consistent in the world since decades, similar to the sun generating warmth– and so, if all do their duty, they need not fear harm.

Ingrid hosts at dVerse and invites us to write inspired by a line from
“The Chimney Sweeper,” by William Blake. Come join us! π
‘ a whisper of hope amid the chaos consistent in the world since decades’ – how lovely this is, Sanaa! And you’re right about the consistency of the chaos. Perhaps most of all we need to do our duty to ourselves. Thank you for taking part π
Thank you so much, Ingrid π so glad you liked it πβ€οΈ
(and thank you for the glorious prompt)
Maybe it is about duty, or it is about conscience… duty can be a lot really.
Thank you so much, Bjorn π so glad the prose resonated with you πβ€οΈ

Our duty is to live out our calling, and you are definitely a light worker, my friend! Enjoyed the soft flow and wisdom in this, how can we be harmed when we have the capability to “transmute darkness to light.” π
Awww gosh! Thank you so much, Tricia π so glad you enjoyed it πβ€οΈ
I am so glad!
Doing of the duty, for all, not just some. Indeed.
Happy Monday

You nailed this one SR. I esp liked how your own abyss-ness precludes fear of the abyss.
Thank you so much, Ron π so glad you enjoyed it πβ€οΈ
My dear Sanaa,
YOU are who we need in the world …. I have lived long enough to have a few of the answers you seek … too old for angst.

“do you ever think about the world, and everyoneβs role in it the same way as I do?”
Yes, all the time. I really do think we have the capabilities and resources to eliminate the “chaos”….unfortunately only some can see it. Glad you’re one of those.
