Thoughts frighten – rob me late at night
Propelled to draw upon a canvass.
Refuse not, let your mind foresee
To reflect would coerce – drive the soul to madness

No, don’t play with these emotions
You are like a soft gentle breeze.
Oh do tempt me with your hatred;
A smile so slow just meant to tease – what a strange unease

Too late to start – to act like saint
Her cheeks so round! Oh lips so red
Raucous burning inside the chest.
I moaned and trembled from foot to head – oh misled!

Oh every touch makes her cower;
And mere thought of me makes her cringe.
Obsession songful – hour of sport
You can miss me by a mile – miss me by an inch
