Thus amidst the rich and sweet array; she danced
with ribbon round her elfin finger. Lo! round and
round with amour who loved to nod and sing; sol
with bluebirds bring, the arrival of gallant Spring.

Lo! around Maypole as she heard the music play;
alongside velvet leaves and wind, the earth began
to sway. Such visions blessed each moment sweet;
among the crowd she blushed and smiled. Love is
but a conflict wild; with nature oft plain and pure.

Faerics twirl beneath the moon;
Whilst roses riot in their bloom.
