Across the magnificent hall;
A heart was thus stolen.
As eyes lifted to thine;
In one flashing moment.

The night strewn;
With starry sky.
Alas! Thee vision;
Had twisted awry.

Though words unspoken;
A hidden bond remained.
Sparks of fiery passion;
In features restrained.

To be able to touch;
Would have been sublime.
Alas! Igniting the soul;
The longing was confined!

Pray tell how long?
Till longing pacified?
Alas! thou knew not
Emotions intensified.

Across the magnificent hall;
A heart was thus stolen.
As eyes lifted to thine;
In one flashing moment.
