Unable to see the world;
The state makes me hurl.
Leaves around me swirl;
I lie in bed curled.
Unable to communicate;
Its hard enough to breathe.
Thoughts several accumulate;
Hoping to have bequeathed.
Unable to bid farewell;
So much left unsaid.
Lying as if under a spell;
Miserable heart has bled.
Unable to shed tears;
Lying lost forever.
Passed several years;
Discovered single letter.
Unable to control;
Overwhelmed by content.
His eyes downward scroll;
Burning with lament.
Unable to confess;
His unspoken love.
Trembling hand caress;
Shedding off his glove.

Unable to bid farewell;
So much left unsaid……. I’m afraid that would be many peoples response. Too bad if we wait too late.

I love the way you liken this to the season of fall when things fall away and are lost. The “single letter” creates a static tension for the reader.
Well done Sanaa
