Spending all night;
Dreaming of you.
The smile on your face;
Similar to morning dew.

With every changing,
Season.
I m looking for a,
Reason.

Unable to concentrate;
Your words fill my mind.
Making it even worse;
While our fingers entwine.

With every changing,
Season.
I m looking for a,
Reason.

Can’t decipher whether love;
Whether infatuation.
Resting upon the desk;
Bright pink carnation.

With every changing,
Season.
I m looking for a,
Reason.

Hence moving on;
Embraced this notion.
Love towards you;
Has depth of an ocean.

With every changing,
Season.
I m looking for a,
Reason.

Looking for a ReasonΒ (revised version of 3rd May’15 poem above)

Amid soft whispers exchanged bold stares
I feigned not passion nor feigned I delight
Playing upon sweet lips distilled with dew
I dream of your smile in the hush of night

With every changing season
I’m (still) looking for a reason

Unable to concentrate as your words engulf
I gasp as rose and lily kissed amorous vine
Omitted paragraphs have embroiled sense
Making it even worse as our fingers entwine

With every changing season
I’m (still) looking for a reason

Oh can’t decipher whether love or infatuation
Perhaps I breathe what’s termed as lover’s sigh
Still poised upon bureau a crisp pink carnation
While in rustling conflict bluebirds fill the sky

With every changing season
I’m (still) looking for a reason

Now the heart can think of no greater devotion
Often a greatest triumph is a willing surrender
I figured love’s but sweet old fashioned notion
Cause love towards you has depth of an ocean

With every changing season
I’m (still) looking for a reason
