Between the shadow and soul
there lies darkness, but it’s ultimately desire
thats drives one into its depths.

You’re love and words brewing inside
the volatile heart, as though fire
that seeps into the rays of dandelion sun.

I watch as you sought to resist
autumnal allure, and moments like this
there’s magic in the embrace of redolent wind.

And I will remember the storm
of relentless lips, and how I had given you
everything – my heart, my body and soul.

For until we have seen someone’s light
and darkness, can hardly hope to discern
and be irrevocably in love.

Until we have forgiven someone’s darkness, we don’t really know what love is.’
