Flirtation

You’re fire
and sometimes ice
Oh, touch engraved
on unassuming skin.

Desire burns
and it’s hard
to distinguish lone
sensation.

Your words pierce
as ice,
while gaze warms
as fire.

And,
yet towards want
does my heart aspire.
