Adonis-amurensis-Fukujukai-4

The fragrance of your body;
Obscures vision, dulls the senses.
Not wishing wine nor weed;
Have laid down defenses.

The Adonis petals;
Tempting amorous mouth.
The heart now radiant;
Redolent of beloved South.

Sweet flower, given myself to you;
Let me follow, and linger indivisible.
The portals of sanctuary unseen;
Accept an offering, quite whimsical.

The night is warm;
Our love so deep.
Music lulling;
Our mind asleep.

The air so sweet;
Sweet as flute.
We lie here loving;
Passionate and mute.
