I agree with the acceptance of responsibility for actions and the resulting consequences.
I don’t agree with the heart holding endless compassion. If it is true,it is not part of my life experience or something that I have witnessed on more than a few occasions.

Thanks Cressida πŸ™‚ perhaps compassion is something that is long lost in these times. We can only hope for the best.

I think the heard once did hold endless compassion and freedom, but it doesn’t seem to be the case nowadays, Sunny πŸ™‚ Maybe it’s a half empty outlook, but I don’t see it headed back in that direction anytime soon. But it’s a good hope. I love the thought that acceptance comes when banish the barriers against love. Maybe when that happens, the barriers to endless compassion will vanish too. * fingers crossed *

I so agree, accept our selves to the core of our inner being, our rights and wrongs and maybe more compassion will flow. Wonderful poem Sanaa

How wise Sanaa. Sadly over the last few years the onus of being responsible is one that has bee too easily shed. We are so much stronger when we are able to do this ourselves.

you know, in banishing those barriers, we open the door to love. when we look for love it is elusive, when we get out of its way – we give it opportunity. you made me think through this, and i enjoyed that.

I have felt the difference, the being able to think rather than letting my emotion drain away the ability to contemplate this truth.
